BGCDSB & St. Basil's Catholic School Presents: Get Ready For School

The Get Ready for School™ program is returning to St. Basil this winter Tuesdays & Thursdays starting January 14th 2025. Trained Instructors will help children get ready for Year 1 of Kindergarten. Children in the program will make friends, learn letter sounds, build vocabulary and develop classroom learning behaviours (e.g., lining up, taking turns). Local Students Showcase Innovation at BGCDSB LEGO Robotics Competition

KINCARDINE– Budding engineers and programmers from across the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board (BGCDSB) put their skills to the test at a thrilling LEGO Robotics Competition held at St. Anthony School in Kincardine on Friday, March 28th. The event saw enthusiastic students from grades 4-8 designing, building, and programming robots to autonomously tackle a series of engaging challenges.

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board (BGCDSB) is pleased to announce the election of Trustee Lori Di Castri as Chair and Trustee Linda Strader as Vice-Chair for the 2024-2025 term. They both held these positions last year so their election this year will provide ongoing stability for the Board. Their leadership will continue to guide the board in its mission to provide quality Catholic education while fostering strong connections with students, families, and communities across the region.
