BGCDSB & St. Basil's Catholic School Presents: Get Ready For School

The Get Ready for School™ program is returning to St. Basil this winter Tuesdays & Thursdays starting January 14th 2025. Trained Instructors will help children get ready for Year 1 of Kindergarten. Children in the program will make friends, learn letter sounds, build vocabulary and develop classroom learning behaviours (e.g., lining up, taking turns). It is with a mixture of pride and heavy hearts that we announce the departure of Papy Mukenge, our Acting Superintendent of Education. Papy has accepted a new opportunity as Superintendent of Education with the Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB), effective August 10, 2026.
